Smart Phone finds newspaper a non-dynamic product - something that needs refreshing every 1 day and dont know what to do the next day with the paper. - ah the collection of giant button calculators, solar powered, even more memory optioned calci's as we called them in school. Captain America like the Calculator likes to manage the language inbetween the team and he is too old school for the smart phone, say bye bye.
Thanos thumps and thrashes Captain, Smartphone absorbs the feature into an app and eliminate the need of a calci.

Yes a neat little bed side clock with consumes a giant duracell battery device over a year which has an alarm function, nowadays only acts like a show price in the living room, maybe even a paperweight on most desks. Some even had the luck of getting a radio based alarm clock.

6 - Mp3 & CD player a.k.a Star Lord
12 songs per cd, 3 cd changers, Sony Walkmans, those were the hip days of owning these babies. Star Lord does too - catch the Guardians of Galaxy I and II to witness that.
We loved the 30gb iPod, that wheel based interface driven UI was revolutionary, in some ways Zune too - but alas they too have to now rest in pieces after the smartphone arrival.

The know it all - Britannica Encyclopedia - what a owner delight ! Ability to know anything in this universe within a few flicks of pages was amazing. Those books were great quality and super typography - alas no search engine - alas no google-ability - alas no image recognition and copying + sharing was hectic with scanning/photocopies.

Ah those clip ons ! The ones that would send us messages and where to call back. Doctors loved them. The origin of the distraction - yes this is where it all started, don't blame it on the of the notifications you receive on your phone or browser or pc. It all started here - just like Loki - notification from a pager used to distract people from what they were doing. The reign of Paging didn't last long due to its limited functionality.

The King of the Norse Gods - Odin, father of Thor - King of the Asgardians. He has amazing stamina, resistance to magic and extended lifespan. Like the GPS Device - he was once upon a time a great ruler and defied navigation - but the smartphone absorbed his powers too and lay waste to the Asgardian king.

Another super powerless super hero - easy to defeat - Thanos utilized Google Maps and conquered.

Super uni-functioning device like the voice recorder was easy to take on for Thanos

80's children were the real remote, then came the wireless slim devices which we banged when battery low - one IR blaster and Thanos took out War Machine too.

Quiet a recent hero the step counting device, Ant-Man was an amateur anyway - one more sensor for Thanos and taking out was not a mammoth task.
19. Compass a.k.a Vision
The stone age people used needles and silk, Bear Grylls uses the Compass, but Thanos took away Vision's forhead gem for his Gauntlet with super ease, no one to save him.

Like the dialup modem - another disturbance on the landline was fax machines, just Fury is furious when hiring Tony Stark into Avengers. Fury was super-powerless superhero- easy to take out and replace.
